Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving. Psalm 95: 2
Dear Father, help us to be ever grateful for our smallest blessings. Thank you.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
A STORY OF HEALING: JESUS HEALS THE TEN LEPERS
Passers-by sneered at them and pinched their noses. Their facial expressions were almost as gruesome as the object of their revulsion. Gathered together, leaning against each other and oozing from their sores, ten men whined to each other, “Do you think He can heal us? Do you think He would?” “Not sure,” another answered. “We are a sorry lot.”
Still, the ten kept their eyes peeled with hope of finding Jesus, the Healer. Having lived in a ‘Community of Lepers,’ all ten suffered degradation and physical infirmity for most of their lives! They heard about Jesus’ miracles and wanted the same for themselves. One day they saw Him and begged for mercy. Jesus had compassion on them and healed them! They were no longer pariahs in their own country! They were
citizens, upright, walking, conversing, healed and unafraid…
But did they thank Him?
Only one returned to say, “Thank you.” Set free from the ravages of illness and shame, the other nine went on their way, taking their healing for granted. A Samaritan, one who was outside the realm of religion, came back in gratitude to praise God in the name of Jesus.

When a Person Meets Jesus…
It is in communion with our Savior that we find friendship with Him, where He shares His holy presence with us. The more we learn to be at ease with the act of praying, simply bowing our heads and hearts before Him, the more like Him we become. The reason? His Holy Spirit reaches out to us. It is here that we learn how to agree with what He wants for us and for our lives, how to share in His holiness.
What a hope He gives! What a promise is ours!
He offers to share His holiness with us!
The moment we kneel in His presence, or close our eyes to worship Him, He joins us. He promises to be with us always.... Wanting a friendship with us, He is there. And when we move toward His presence in prayer, He hears us.
He welcomes us into His presence, into His holiness, into His peace -from our cares.

Lyrics to above music:
IT IS NO SECRET WHAT GOD CAN DO
The chimes of time ring out the news,
Another day is through
Someone slipped and fell
Was that someone you?
You may have longed for added strength
Your courage to renew
Do not be disheartened
For I have news for you
It is no secret what God can do
What he's done for others, he'll do for you
With arms wide open, he'll pardon you
It is no secret what God can do
There is no night for in His light
You never walk alone
Always feel at home
Wherever you may go
There is no power can conquer you
While God is on your side
Take Him at his promise
Don't run away and hide
It is no secret what God can do
What He's done for others, He'll do for you
With arms wide open, He'll pardon you
It is no secret what God can do

Rest in His Love
The Bible tells us that the Lord is
our Hiding Place, where we may find shelter.
“Dear God, you are my Refuge in a storm. Here, I will find rest.” C.C.
